Fort Bend City. A place where the neon glow of Vegas meets
the grit of New York. A city built on dreams and shattered
aspirations, where fortunes are made and lives are lost in the
blink of an eye. This is where our story begins—a story
woven from the threads of deceit, desire, and a healthy dose
of dark humor. Handy Fox, our protagonist, isn’t your typical
hero. He's a contract killer, a high-end gigolo, and a man
who plays chess with death itself. He's a master of disguise,
a chameleon in a city of masks, and his closest confidant is
completely unaware of his true nature. The stakes are high,
the twists are sharp, and the lines between right and wrong
are blurred beyond recognition. Expect the unexpected.
Prepare to question your loyalties. And above all, don't trust
anyone – especially not the narrator. This is a game, and
we’re all just pawns. And if you’re lucky, you’ll make it to
the end. If you’re not, well, you'll find out soon enough. This
is Fort Bend City, and nobody gets out unscathed.
They say truth is stranger than fiction. In this case, they are
demonstrably wrong. This story, while rooted in the grim
realities of small-town intrigue and the surprisingly lethal
properties of purified vape juice, is entirely fictional. Any
resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is purely
coincidental. Unless, of course, you happen to be a
charmingly manipulative bartender with a penchant for
questionable clientele, a formidable housekeeper with a dark
past (and an even darker secret), or a contract killer with a
surprisingly strong affinity for domesticity. In that case, you
are probably in some serious trouble, and I suggest you
lawyer up—and maybe consider a career change. Preferably
one that doesn't involve nicotine-based murder weapons. On
the other hand, if you're just a regular reader who enjoys a
good thriller with a generous helping of dark humor and a
dash of forbidden passion, then settle in and prepare for a
wild ride. Just remember, this is a work of fiction. Unless, of
course, it's not. But don't worry, you'll never know for sure.
That’s the beauty (and terror) of it all.rt description.
